PRACTICES AND PRINCIPLES OF NURSERY CROP PRODUCTION SUMMER 2007
Floral Design I (CRFT 1091) This class teaches basic instruction in creating floral arrangements, table arrangements, wreaths, bows, corsages and boutonnieres. Students will produce six arrangements during the course, one each week. Focusing on four important design theories: perspective, line, texture and color, the information given is geared toward the knowledge needed to be successful in the industry, as well as for personal enjoyment. Flowers used will depend on the season (live and silk flowers used). Materials are extra, usually an additional $60-75. Floral Design II (CRFT 1091) This course is a continuation of Floral Design I. Materials are extra, usually an additional $60-75. Interior Design I (INDS 1005) Students will learn the creative basics of interior design for today’s living. Analysis and design through the use of color, texture, styles of furniture, arrangements, and coordination of all design elements will be taught. Have fun while discovering your own personal style. Become motivated to change your environment and let your personality shine through where you live or work.
Commercial Floral Design Techniques (FMKT 1091) This 16 hour class teaches basic instruction in creating commercial floral arrangements, table arrangements, wreaths, bows, corsages and boutonnieres. Interior Plants and Interior Landscaping (HALT 1008) This course teaches the basics of design using interior plants and interior landscaping Landscape Gardening (HALT 1095) Students will learn the creative basics of landscape gardening for today’s living.
Practices and Principles of Nursery Crop Production (HALT 2006) Students will learn the creative basics of nursery crop production for today’s living.
