Microsoft Windows for Seniors (CEC 7185) This course reviews the concepts of computer components, Windows, Internet, Word and Excel.
Microsoft Word for Seniors, Introduction (CEC 7186) This course introduces the concept of word processing by presenting the basic techniques of using Word for Windows. Opening the Word program and entering text are the first functions covered. How different types of documents are created, as well as formatted, is just one of several other exciting topics presented in this course. Textbook required.
Internet for Seniors (CEC) 7187) This course will give you the fundamentals of the Internet. Learn how to browse the Internet and gain skills for Internet proficiency. You will learn how to get connected and find an Internet Service Provider (ISP). You will use the major Internet browsers, learn how to use search engines and how to send e-mail. This course is hands-on and basic computer knowledge is required. Bring a 3.5” high-density diskette. Textbook required. |
