 XMLN1  Intro to XML for .NET


Special topics in Computer and information sciences, general. (ITSC1091)

Topics address recently identified current events, skills, knowledge and or attitudes and behaviors pertinent to the technology or occupation and relevant to the professional development of the student.

Prerequisites: VB.Net or C#.Net courses; HTML highly desirable. XML is the new language for the Internet that will be used to transfer data and create specialized languages. In this 24-hour course, you will learn how to develop XML documents, document type definitions (DTD), and formatting XML. The XML document object model (DOM) will be reviewed in depth. Java script and VB script will be used to manipulate XML documents. XML data source objects will also be used to work with XML documents.

  • Reading and Writing XML
  • XML document object model (DOM)
  • Navigating XML with XPath

 

  XMLN2 Advanced XML for .NET
