SQLN1  Intro to SQL Server 2005 for .NET

Special topics in Computer and information sciences, general. (ITSC1091)

Topics address recently identified current events, skills, knowledge and or attitudes and behaviors pertinent to the technology or occupation and relevant to the professional development of the student.

This course introduces developers to programming database applications using Transact SQL and SQL Server 2005. Students learn how to write standard SQL and create and extract data from a database and analyze code for performance gains. Students utilize Microsoft Transact SQL Server 2005 to create stored procedures and triggers to enhance the power, efficiency and flexibility of SQL and dramatically improve the performance the performance of SQL statements and batches

This course provides an introduction to the design and creation of relational databases. Topics include storing, retrieving, updating and displaying data using structured Query Language (SQL) and Procedural Language (PL)
